Description of Project
The idea of this app came to me when I began writing down the different problems I face on a daily basis. I regularly need advice from others when deciding what to wear. I also have trouble remembering what I’ve previously worn. The design of MyWear – MW began on a paper prototype. Then few things were changed after I collected feedback from user testing. MyWear – MW allows users to store images of their clothing and accessories. There is a tab available for users to mix and match between their garments and they can save their outfits worn. I love the idea of my app, I feel that many problems are solved. However, the UI/UX must be improved. With the development of my app I realized my strength is in backend development.

I launched my first IOS app in August 18, 2018. Thanks to the first users who downloaded my app I was able to find bugs in my code that I later fixed and in two days I launched my first usable version 1.2!

In version 2.1 of “MyWear – MW” I significantly improved the UI/UX of the app. I took my user’s feedback and improved the overall functionality of the app and also made it available in both English and Spanish. In this new version users are able to share their closet inventory with other users. Therefore, users are now required to create unique usernames.
